Pisces

Are you familiar with the practice of “Spring Cleaning?” This is a tradition akin to the Japanese custom of O-Souji, or End of the Year Cleaning. The practice finds its beginnings in the west, where families would clean their homes – filthy from the charcoal soot used to heat their homes in the winter – in moving into spring. Remnants of this practice continue on into the current day as spring cleaning. Pisces welcomed their new year with their birthday in February and March, and as we see the advent of spring, it has come time for Pisces natives to embark upon their own process of decluttering.

With Mars in earth-sign Capricorn and Venus in earth-sign Taurus this month, we see stability and calm restored to much untamed energy that had pervaded the air until recently. In order to build new foundations and welcome the new, one must of course clear away the old. What kind of year will I make 2018? What do I need to do to achieve my goals? Is there anything that is blocking my way to success? Pose these questions to yourself, Pisces, and begin the process of clearing out the clutter – whether it be physical items, thoughts, or relationships. In shedding away what fails to serve us now, the future becomes so much open and ripe with possibility.
