The energy of the stars seems to evoke images of a spring this month — a font of purified, clear water. Hot, summer days continue on from July into August, and the first half of the month seems to be ripe with plenty of exciting days; but as we move towards the latter half of August and closer to fall, water energy begins to pervade the air. Our hearts can be rejuvenated, replenished. At first, tensions between Mars and Uranus seem to rise, while the Sun and Jupiter seem to activate one another — the workplace and your lovelife seems to become more active than usual. At the same time, this period sees a lot of projects pile up at once — meaning that stress may begin to accumulate more than usual. The burning heat of the summer sun and chaotic days may leave you feeling drained — the “wellspring” of inspiration within you may feel a bit dried out. Your heart may begin to crave “moisture,” and calm.

No need to worry, though. With a Solar Eclipse on the 11th and a shift in planetary movements in the latter half of August, we see the abundant fire energy in the air begin to subside, with breezy water and earth energy coming back into the forefront. The hectic pace seems to subside and days begin to feel calmer; normality finds its way back to you. Like how water seems to rise up from a dried spring, you’ll find that creativity and inspiration seems to find rise within you again — just make sure to give yourself room for rest. As we move into fall, the faded colors of summer appear sharper, clearer. Everything will begin to look different.

This month at PhotoAstrology, we hope to provide hints to help you live out your August to your fullest — together with images selected to represent the signs this month.
