Tomio Koyama Gallery was founded in 1996 by Tomio Koyama (Owner / Director). The gallery introduces both emerging and established artists from Japan and the world.

The gallery has been participating in many art fairs from 2001 including the Art Basel, Art Basel Miami Beach, Art Basel Hong Kong, Frieze London, Frieze NY, Art Stage Singapore and Art Taipei among others. In 2015, the main gallery moved from the Kiyosumi gallery complex at which the gallery was located since 2005 to the new space in Kitasando. We also have the gallery space in Shibuya “8/ART GALLERY/ Tomio Koyama Gallery” opened in 2012.

Representing various Japanese artists, such as Kishio Suga and Mika Ninagawa and also many international artists, such as Richard Tuttle and Varda Caivano, the gallery focuses on introducing the artists both globally and locally.
