1994年の開廊以来、荒木経惟、森山大道、畠山直哉など日本を代表する写真家や新進気鋭の日本人作家の展覧会開催、海外での認知促進を行うと同時に欧米の現代美術の動向を積極的に日本に紹介してきたタカ・イシイギャラリーが、2011年、東京・六本木に写真作品を専門に扱うスペースとして開廊したセカンド・スペース。細江英公、東松照明、奈良原一高らVIVOのメンバーや、60年代の前衛芸術活動を捉えた平田実、実験工房メンバーの大辻清司など、日本の戦前・戦後世代の写真家と、吉野英理香、今井智己、津田直、山本彩香ら若手写真家を紹介している。
Opened in 2011 as a second exhibition space of Taka Ishii Gallery, known as the
primary representative for contemporary Japanese masters including Nobuyoshi Araki, Daido Moriyama. The space serves as a forum for the presentation of a focused program considering the work of lesser-known pre and post war Japanese photographers as well as a site for the exhibition of masterworks by historical and contemporary photographic masters from Japan and abroad.
